Mongrels!

Here’s a clip from the BBC’s new puppet series Mongrels, created by Adam Miller. It doesn’t look to bad and was 5 years in the making, it follows the lives of dogs, cats, pigeons and other city animals.

’1884 Yesterdays Future’

This is pretty sweet, it’s a “work in progress” but is being exec-produced by Terry Gilliam who, along with director Tim Ollive (who was an animator on The Meaning of Life), is still on the hunt for funding. It’s just a test but with names like theirs attached, I’m sure it won’t be long before the film gets off the ground.

Another awesome, and funny, student film out of CalArts. This one is from Fourth year student Shion Takeuchi. Flash was used for the eye and mouth animation, and then motion-tracked onto the puppets…
